Conviviality for many Etten-Leur family caregivers
Saturday, November 11, many family caregivers enjoyed a pleasant morning or afternoon. This day had a different format than previous years. The location - H3 Works at Mon Plaisir - was new, people could sign up for the morning or afternoon and the format was a mixture of meeting, relaxing and doing something creative.
Steunpunt Mantelzorg Etten-Leur organized this day to pamper volunteer caregivers and put them in the limelight. There was a snack, a drink, music and a cone of chips. People could sign up for a Relaxmoment by Beautopia or participate in a workshop ‘Intuitive with paint’. These were taken advantage of generously. The creation table was also full all day. People could make a bracelet or flowers from napkins or color a beautiful coloring page. These creative activities were supervised by volunteers from H3 Works. Ad Oostvogels Catering took care of the delicious snacks and drinks, Het Muziekhuis brought music with some of their participants and Els de Lange of Het Seniorenhart talked the day together as a fancy lady and gave a dance workshop. Two volunteers from First Aid Association ‘Johannes de Deo’ Etten-Leur were present all day, fortunately they did not have to take action.
Thanks to volunteers and companies
This day could only take place thanks to the efforts of lots of volunteers and the cooperation of companies. Like H3 Works who made their location available and Techno Traffic Control who made sure that the parking of bike and car went smoothly and safely. Many companies in the immediate area made their parking spaces available: Waters Chromatography Europe B.V. EPI - Industrial Automation, B O Infra, El Campus, Wilten Instruments, Bouwbedrijf Gelens B.V., Bresam Heftrucks B.V. and Konings Fysio & Training.
