Dealing with dementia
More and more people are experiencing dementia in a loved one: whether it is your partner, parent, child, friend or neighbor. It can be challenging to understand what is going on in your loved one while continuing to take good care of yourself.
That is why Surplus is organizing the training course ‘Dealing with Dementia. In May, a new series of meetings will start for family caregivers who are dealing with dementia in their immediate environment. Whether you are just getting started or have been caring for some time: you are most welcome.
During the training there is not only attention for knowledge and practical tools, but also for recognition, exchange and your personal questions. What is going on with you? What are you struggling with? Together we make sure that the meetings meet your needs as much as possible.
The training is provided by Richard Koekoek, coach and trainer at Coachfriend. With his involved and practical approach, he knows how to connect theory and practice in a fine way.
